Born and raised in Elijay, Ga., Roger Mooney’s career began by accident in 1984 when he stepped in for a scheduled rodeo announcer who had a heart attack. In short time, Mooney went from being a contestant to being one of the best announcers on the circuit with accolades that include the two-time NFR, five-time Calgary Stampede, five-time Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, 10-time High School Rodeo Finals announcing duties. He’s also been announced as the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association Announcer of the Year.

Stace Smith
Rodeo Stock Contractor

Stace Smith produces more PRCA rodeos than any other stock contractor in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and for 12 years has been named the PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year. In addition, Smith’s organization produces a number of PBR, invitational and private convention events throughout the year. Smith Pro Rodeos is not only committed to providing

top livestock, but also to producing a one-of-a-kind rodeo experience. Since 2006, Smith Pro Rodeos has had multiple rodeos nominated for PRCA Rodeo of the Year in all four categories. Ogden Pioneer Days is the only rodeo in Utah where you can see livestock by Smith Pro Rodeo.

John Harrison
Rodeo Entertainer

John Harrison has worked rodeos from coast to coast and has made five apppearances at the prestigious Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Three times he appeared as the specialty-act performer and twice as the barrelman. In 2012, 2014, and 2015, Harrison picked up the coveted honor of Comedy Act of the Year. In 2014, he brought home the gold buckle that represents his achievement of Coors Man in the Can. He feels blessed to be doing what he loves and with those he loves by his side. Harrison married in 2006. He and his wife Carla have had four children.
