National Day of the American Cowboy Honorees

Each July, on the National Day of the American Cowboy, cowboys and cowgirls from across the United States are honored for their contributions to promote and preserve the cowboy way of life. Ogden Pioneer Days participates in that tradition by honoring Utahns from every county who, day by day, embody the western heritage. The honorees are celebrated each July during one night of the rodeo, applauded by thousands of rodeo fans in attendance from far and wide.
